Our favorite versatile Disney star is all grown up.
“Even Stevens” just celebrated their 17th anniversary and “Kim Possible” celebrated their 15th.
Feel ancient yet? Christy Carlson Romano, who played Ren in “Even Stevens” and was the voice actress of Kim Possible, revealed that she would be very interested in reboots of series when the time is right.
This glimmer of hope for revivals of her shows, some of the best Disney Channel creations, leaves us excited for more and eager to catch up with her until Disney gives the green light.
So, here are the career and personal life updates of Christy Carlson Romano to remind you how much we need her in our lives.
Christy Carlson Romano just filmed a new movie, “House Rules,” that as of now is in post-production. It’s an action film about retired MMA fighter, Sean, who loses everything: money, family and self-respect, and joins a brutal, fight-to-the-death-style fight club, to win serious money. She plays Sean’s ex-wife, Sherry, who works at her father’s bar to provide for herself and her son, Mikey.
It’s definitely a step in a more serious direction, compared to her other roles in television comedies.
In May, she also performed for the Center Theatre Group’s 50th Anniversary (photographed above).
She has also been directing, producing and acting in television movies, like “The Girl in the Photographs” (2015), “Christmas All Over Again” (2016) and “Christmas with the Andersons” (2016).
Christy Carlson Romano got married to film producer, Brendan Rooney in 2013 and they seem as happy as ever.
They are perfect, I mean:
They also had their first baby, Isabella Victoria, in December 2016.
Look how cute. Honestly, look, it’s unreal how cute she is:
Christy Carlson Romano is absolutely thriving!
ENTITY eagerly waits for reboots of her classic Disney shows, but until they arrive, know that Christy Carlson Romano is grown up and doing great.
