Welcome to Hannah’s season of the Bachelorette. With the 16th season of the hit show just a month away, we thought it might be fun to look back at this drama-filled season that featured one of the most badass leading ladies in the show’s history. Let’s take a look back at Hannah B. and the guys that she, and America, fell in love with.
Age: 24
Occupation: Miss Alabama 2018, Interior Designer
Hometown: Tuscaloosa, AL
Miss Hannah Brown: former pageant queen, current badass and one of the show’s best Bachelorettes. She tells it how it is. One thing that I appreciate the most about Hannah is that she does not put up with any bullshit. Men belittle her? She calls them out and shows them who is in charge. Contestants try to pull moves on her? She shuts them down. Mostly. (See below for Cam and Luke).
She allows herself to follow the process organically, being her genuine self and following her true feelings. After watching years of the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise, it was refreshing to see someone who feels like a real person, rather than a character.
Many people had mixed feelings about Hannah while she was on Colton’s season of the Bachelor, but she truly redeemed herself as our Bachelorette. Hannah, we appreciate you, we see you, we love you. And we also hoped that you would pick Tyler.

Occupation: General Contractor/Model
Hometown: Jupiter, FL
We love Tyler C. He is dreamy. He is sweet. He is charming. He is definitely a fan favorite on Hannah’s season of the bachelorette. But what makes Tyler even more special? He stands up for Hannah. When men try to drag her down, Tyler supports her.
Just by looking at Tyler and his overall demeanor, you would expect the personality of a typical frat boy. I mean, he’s a charming model…what else would you expect? But we were very wrong.
If you need proof of his beautiful, supportive, non-frat boy soul, he supported Hannah on Twitter when a contestant from a previous season of The Bachelorette tried to rain on her parade. He not only referred to her as “our Queen,” but also supported Hannah’s right to do what she wants with her body. We love a woke king.
Hannah must have thought so too because Tyler made it all the way to the final two. And, even after she originally turned down his proposal, he insisted that he was happy for her. I’m not crying, you’re crying.
Tyler, you are appreciated. Thank you for being you. Never change.

Mike is one of the sweetest men on this season. He has overcome many obstacles in his life and has come out as a strong and confident man. During one of his talks with Hannah, he opened up about a very serious event that happened in his life.
During his last relationship, his girlfriend was pregnant and suffered a miscarriage during her second trimester. This conversation with Hannah brought them much closer together and also allowed us to see a different side to Mike.
Sometimes while watching reality shows like The Bachelorette, we forget that contestants are more than “characters.” Mike has reminded us of the reality aspect of reality shows. He is a strong, confident man who has his life together. We figured that if Mike didn’t win, he’d definitely be the one that got away.
Since he didn’t end up winning…may we propose Mike for the next Bachelor? He would be perfect, just saying. So let’s make it happen, please.

Occupation: Pilot
Hometown: Westlake Village, CA
Nice guys finish last? Hopefully not! Peter is perfect husband material for Hannah and I definitely wouldn’t have been mad if he had won Hannah’s season of the Bachelorette. Hannah and Peter had such a strong, natural connection. Not to mention, he is the only man on the show who formally asked Hannah to be his girlfriend.
If Hannah chose him, she would have had the luxury of free travel thanks to his pilot status with Delta Airlines. Truly amazing. What can’t you do, Peter?

Occupation: Investment Analyst
Hometown: Dallas, TX
I’m going to be honest. We don’t see much of Connor, so we don’t know too much about him. However, in the short one-on-one date that he had with Hannah, we learned all we really need to know about him. He is extremely thoughtful and kind and goes out of his way for Hannah.
During their one-on-one date, Hannah was not feeling well and they had a change of plans. Rather than going out on an extravagant date, Connor spent time with Hannah in her hotel room while she was resting. After she went to sleep, he wrote little love notes and placed them all around the room for her to find when she woke up. Be still my heart.
Although he didn’t make it until the end, he is a fan favorite and is very loved by Bachelor Nation.

Occupation: Import/Export Manger
Hometown: Gainesville, GA
Okay. There’s a lot to talk about here. Luke P. has been branded the “villain” of the season, and for good reason. Throughout the season, there have been moments of jealousy, aggression, and manipulation. Need some examples? Don’t worry. We have plenty.
1. Slut-shaming: Luke P. basically stated that Hannah should not be having any sexual encounters with any of the men in order to show respect to her future husband, “[Hannah’s] body is her temple, and to expose it to anyone who isn’t her husband… that was a slap in my face.” Need I say more? This man is trash.
2. Bungee Jumping: During Hannah’s one-on-one date with Garrett, they bungee jumped naked together. This obviously infuriated Luke, as he apparently believes this was a mortal sin.
3. Rugby game: During one of the group date activities, the men played a game of rugby. Sounds like all fun and games? Not to Luke P. His aggressive side definitely came out on this group date and he slammed Luke S. to the ground and hit him in the head.
We were more than happy to see Hannah kick him to the curb. She even apologized to the Bachelor Nation for how much screentime Luke and his toxic ideations got. We stan a true queen.

Occupation: Singer/Songwriter
Hometown: Nashville, TN
Ah, Jed. You have let us down so much. Up until the last couple of weeks of the show, we thought Jed was the one. He was sweet, charming, down-to-earth, and most importantly, he gave Hannah a feeling of comfort. We saw something in Jed that we had not seen in the other men. He was genuine. He made it to the final two and serenaded his marriage proposal to Hannah, which she giddily accepted.
But, we had all been deceived.
It turns out, Jed is not the man we thought he was. It was reported that he had a girlfriend back at home throughout the entire season of the show, and was only going on the show to promote his music career. Of course, all of this came out after Jed proposed to Hannah and she said yes. Cool, Jed.
After hearing this news, Hannah, in her typical badass style, was not having it. He fumbled through an apology which she saw as disingenuine, and she dumped his ass. We were thrilled to see Hannah escape from the fame-seeking Jed and his mediocre guitar playing.
Hannah asked out fan-favorite Tyler and they have had sort of an on-and-off relationship over the past year. As far as we know, they are still quarantined together, and their flirty pics and TikToks are giving us a glimmer of hope for the future.
We hope that this recap has you feeling nostalgic as we look forward to next month’s premiere. Will Clare Crawley be able to step into the role with as much badassery and strength as Hannah Brown? We can’t wait to find out!
