ENTITY reports on happy songs to lift your spirits.

Bob Marley once said “One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.”

Well, we can attest to this, and say that when those happy songs hit you, any problems and worries go away.

Music can tap into every single emotion, but our favorite is happiness. An upbeat song can change your mood, make your day or can get you to let loose.

Here are ENTITY’s picks for happy songs to get you going when you need a pick-me-up.

1 DJ Khaled is the one.

DJ Khaled is one of the biggest artists around these days. Not only is his music great, and includes awesome cameos by celebs like Justin Bieber and Migos, but his son Asahd is super adorable.

This year, one of his biggest hits was “I’m the One,” which featured Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper and Lil Wayne. This upbeat song gives us major beach vibes for summer 2017.

2 The Chainsmokers Lit Up 2016.

The Chainsmokers had a big year in 2016/17, bringing in a ton of hits, such as their song “Closer” with Halsey. They’ve also seen hits with songs such as “Paris,” “Don’t Let Me Down” feat. Daya and “Something Just Like This” feat. Coldplay.

3 Because J-Biebs is always relevant.

What would a playlist be without some J-Biebs? Bieber is one of the biggest artists around, with a net worth of $83.5 million, according to Forbes.

The singer has won over our hearts over a number of years, and we have watched him grow from a little teenager with a baby face into a full-grown man. His 2015 hit “Sorry” topped the charts and made us want to go out and dance with our besties.

4 You can’t resist this beat.

This song is a classic. It makes us want to roll down our windows and speed around, singing at the top of our lungs. Perfect car jam.

5 It’s literally in the title.

This one is a no-brainer. The song is titled “Happy,” as if this wasn’t a dead giveaway for how the song will make us feel.

Pharrell created this song for the popular kids’ movie “Despicable Me 2.” As if those little minions weren’t enough to make us happy, this song just adds to it.

6 Queen Bey. Enough Said.

Queen Bey runs the world. I mean, come on — How would we make a feel-good playlist without including a song from Beyonce? Queen Bey has a number of feel-good songs like “Love on Top” and “Formation,” but one of our favorites has got to be “Single Ladies.”

This uptempo song about female empowerment is exactly the type of song to get us #womenthatdo going in the morning.

7 We all need a 90’s throwback every once in a while.

The 90’s were a great time for music. Some of our favorite artists came about in the 90’s, like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Destiny’s Child. We also saw the emergence of some great boybands, like *NSYNC and The Backstreet Boys.

So, in honor of the boybands we still can’t help but love, here is one of ENTITY’s favorite boyband songs, “Everybody” by The Backstreet Boys. *If your inner fangirl is coming out right now, it’s cool. Ours is, too.*

Music connects all of us. There are countless other songs that can lift your spirits and put you in a dancing mood. We all have that one song that pumps us up.

ENTITY reports on happy songs to pump you up.

So put on your song, put down the windows and jam out. It’ll put you in a great mood. And if you’re looking for some of 2017’s top love songs, check out this article.
