You are the only exception.
Most of you probably know Hayley Williams as the lead singer of Paramore. But who is she really? Well, good thing you asked.
Entity is here to lay out five fun need-to-know facts about this punk rock gal.
Small town girl, big time star. She goes to prove that no matter where you’re from, you can always follow your dreams. While she may be a big pop star now, she doesn’t forget her roots.
She’s still a Mississipian at heart. You go, Hayley Williams!
Because, why not? Chad’s also a music dude. So naturally the two had a rock ‘n’ roll themed wedding when they tied the knot in February 2016. It was probably pretty cool. Rumor has it there may even have been an air guitar playing contest. We wish we had been there.
Unfortunately, Hayley and the New Found Glory performer announced on Instagram this month that they would be splitting up after 10 years together. “Marriage is not for the faint of heart… We want to publicly state — plainly, and only this time — that we are splitting up. We also feel it’s important to state that we are going to be okay and in fact, we remain close friends who are good in each other’s eyes,” the two said in a joint – and since deleted – Instagram post.
Hayley works with the organization Love146 to help stop child sex trafficking. Does “Taken” ring a bell? That’s what she’s trying to stop.
Hayley is much more than just a singer. She works to create real change in the world, and talks with victims of sex trafficking to better understand what they went through.
Hayley’s hair is always changing. It basically has a mind of its own. What will it do next? We have no idea but we’re excited to see. Maybe blue? Black? Lavender?
You know she killed it with the half hot pink and half neon orange hair — so she can pull off just about anything.
She’s the leading woman in Paramore, and is basically the life that keeps the band together. What better role model to have than a woman who is also an icon of music, style and fun? She’s brought her band to successes such as their most recent Grammy win in 2015 for best rock song for “Ain’t It Fun.”
Hayley Williams really rocks. Pun intended. You should make her your role model if you want to rock, too.
