Lilly Cepull is a freelance artist located in Raleigh, North Carolina who is creating artwork for young women. As a childhood friend of mine, I’ve watched Lilly’s hobby turn into a successful, empowering business called All Things Lilly Ann.

Lilly’s primary social media platform is Instagram, as she posts daily inspirational quotes, promotes new product releases, highlights her partnership with Aerie and shares her optimism through Instagram Live feeds. In just one year, her @allthingslillyann Instagram has increased from 2k to 12k followers, she’s developed a website, has released several products on her online store, modeled for Aerie and promoted her pop-up shops in the Raleigh area. Lilly is the epitome of Entity’s #womenthatdo.

She Wants To Motivate Those Around Her.

The focus of Lilly’s work revolves around creating inspirational pieces for women. Her business began by selling canvases with quotes written in her quirky, unique calligraphy. As those grew popular, Lilly held calligraphy classes for some of her followers. When Lilly realized a niche for calligraphy, she discovered alternative canvases to share her motivational quotes through.

This observation triggered Lilly to open her online store on Etsy. With the addition of the store, Lilly Cepull, kick started her true business. Her store offers motivational stickers, apparel, and canvases to her customers. She even designs custom orders within two to four weeks, allowing clients to customize their own products with quotes meaningful to them.

She’s Comfortable in Her Own Skin.

In one of Lilly’s incredible Instagram captions, she stated, “For so many years I would always look at other girls and wish I had hair like theirs, clothes like theirs, freckles like theirs, etc. and it makes me so sad… Comparison will truly rob you of your happiness! We all are beautiful exactly the way we are my babes!”

Lilly’s small start-up business is revolutionizing the future of females. As she continues to spread awareness of her personal brand, women will find strength and power within themselves. Lilly also partnered with a brand that promotes individuality and acceptance of the REAL you.

Just this past year, she had the opportunity to model with Aerie. According to the AEO Investor Relations, Aerie has not retouched a model since 2014. The company “believes in inspiring customers to love their real selves, inside and out.” With this partnership, Lilly has empowered women to find their self-worth and the beauty within themselves.

She’s Doing What She Loves.

I first met Lilly Cepull in dance class when we were ten years old. She aspired to be one of Beyonce’s back-up dancers. Ten years later, she’s in the spotlight, dancing her way to fame as a freelancer. Within the past two years, I’ve witnessed Lilly develop her photo edits, strengthen her calligraphy skills, delve into her creativity and invest in herself and small business. It is evident that Lilly thoroughly enjoys her job. She shares her constant positivity through Instagram Live feeds, daily happiness with inspirational quotes and endless love through replies to her audience.

“Life is way too short not to do more of what you love. Maybe that means taking more time to read, play sports, draw, play music, brainstorm a new business, cook new recipes, etc. whatever the heck it is that makes your heart do a happy dance–do more of it,” says Lilly.

I’ve watched Lilly Cepull come this far as a freelance artist, and I know she will continue to promote women empowerment and inspiration through her products. She’s accomplished so much within the past two years, specifically within the past year of creating her business. She’s inspired several individuals thus far, but I know she can reach out to so many more. So, go give @allthingslillyann a follow on Instagram to help her gain awareness and continue to empower young women!
