4. Taylor Swift

First known as a country music singer, she has now turned into a full popstar. Taylor Swift is one of the biggest musicians in the WORLD! She’s shown that there can be success in transitioning to a different genre of music despite the background noise of haters on either end of the genre spectrum. The 10-time Grammy winner won her first Grammy for “Album of the Year” at just 20 years old, and broke the record for “Highest Grossing U.S Tour” on her Reputation stadium tour. Although she received backlash for her song “ME!” Feat. Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco, the pop queen continues to stay true to herself and her brand.

5. Miley Cyrus

Formerly known as young pop star “Hannah Montana,” Miley Cyrus has always been iconic in our hearts. Breaking out of the Disney shadow and leaving Miley Stewart behind was not easy. In a few years, she shed that clean, cookie-cutter, image and is now just known as Miley Cyrus. She showed off her new side through her 2013 Grammy-nominated album “Bangerz.” This album was one that had people hearing her reality and inspired fans worldwide to always be true to themselves. Miley’s EP album “She is Coming” featured six songs much different than her older songs, but still captures the essence of the Miley we’ve always known and loved!
