J.K. Rowling shook up 2016 by shedding light on another part of Harry Potter’s wizarding universe with the movie, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.”
Now, the best-selling author has revealed that the magical journey is long from over. A fan, who couldn’t help but gush about the new film, asked whether Rowling had any other stories coming out soon.
Rowling’s answer? Not only does she plan to continue writing, but she already has more projects in the works!
“I’m working on it (literally),” she tweeted, before poking fun at her fans for being so excited and surprised by the news. “I’m always working on a novel, ” she shared. “It’s my thing.”

Before Rowling signed off of Twitter to keep wrapping presents and otherwise preparing for the holiday season, the author gave a small hint about her future projects.

When asked if she would be working as J.K. or under her pen name, Robert Galbraith, Rowling revealed plans for both. “One of each, but I’m not sure which will come out first. I’ll let you know as soon as I do!” she shared.

We don’t know much else about the upcoming novels, but we know one thing for sure: Harry Potter fans have at least one thing to be thankful for this Christmas.
