If you’ve been wondering where JoJo has been in the last 10 years, wonder no more. The former teen celebrity has been working on new material and is back with full force.

“You should bring your life jacket ’cause people like you can’t handle this,” JoJo sings in her sassy new music video for “FAB,” featuring American artist Remy Ma. This new video is filmed in a stripped-down black and white fashion, where JoJo struts the streets of New York City.

After spending a decade out of the spotlight, JoJo, now 25, delighted fans with her long awaited new album, “Mad Love.”

Joanna “JoJo” Levesque was making pop history by the time she was 13-years-old. After the huge success of her debut single “Leave (Get Out),” the emerging pop celebrity was the youngest solo artist to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 charts.

However, after her second album “The High Road” released in 2008, JoJo suffered from some label troubles and what she described as “personal hell.”

“I got on a cycle of not loving myself and not believing that I really had a future,” the singer told Rolling Stone.

But after forming a new partnership with Atlantic Records, her new album “Mad Love” became a testament of how she’s grown as a writer, collaborator and artist.

“This album is a reflection of the things I grew up listening to … [and] also the things that are going on right now and are inspiring me,” JoJo added. “The biggest thing is life. I’ve been through my own personal hell both professionally and personally, battling my own demons. I’m on the other side of it.”

And for those fans looking to celebrate her return, they can anticipate JoJo’s 2017 headlining tour. The artist announced her comeback on Twitter, telling her fans that she’s “feeling high AF on life right now.”

The tour kicks off in Dublin, Ireland on January 15th. Until then, fans can get a taste of JoJo’s new sound through “Mad Love.”

According to JoJo, this album wasn’t just inspired by her past romantic relationships. “A lot of this album isn’t really about romance,” she said. “The album is about love: self-love and lack thereof.”
