We all love — or love to hate — Kim from the unforgettable Kardashian family.
We will always remember her infamous scenes, like this one where she cried over losing a diamond earring in the ocean.
Kim’s life has always been very public. And so, with this have been some of her personal affairs — like her marriages.
Here ENTITY takes a look at Kim’s weddings and how the star dealt with her personal life being so public.
Kanye proposed to Kim on her 33rd birthday at San Fransisco’s AT&T park. The couple went on to have an extremely intimate ceremony in Florence, Italy on May 24, 2014, the complete opposite of her wedding to Kris Humphries.
“And the couple’s 11-month-old daughter, North, made sure to capture the spotlight. Carried down the aisle by grandma Kris Jenner,” says another source. “She clapped the whole way down,” People reported.
The party that followed was quite extravagant as well. John Legend performed, Kim had multiple outfit changes, cell phones were banned and there was a lack of cameras. And there was an exclusive guest list that included the likes of Serena Williams, Jaden Smith, André Leon Talley and more, according to POPSUGAR.
Kim could never forget her roots, of course. The celebrity and her famous family got their start on the hit show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” Although her wedding with Kanye was not a televised event, Kim did give the show some sneak peeks at wedding preparations.
The episode was titled “Kim’s Journey to the Altar.” It aired on September 1, 2014 in season nine of the hit show. “Kim and Kanye take their closest family and friends to an intimate trip to Paris and Italy, leading up to their exquisite wedding day,” IMDB stated about the episode.
No one can forget that before Kanye, Kim Kardashian wed NBA player Kris Humphries. The couple met in November 2010, and after a whirlwind 90-day engagement, they were married on August 20, 2011.
In October, “Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event” aired. The two-night event brought in over 8 million viewers.
The honeymoon phase didn’t last long. On October 31, 2011 after just 72 days of marriage, Kardashian filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The reality mogul listed that very day as their separation date, per US Weekly. Their wedding is known to be among the shortest weddings in celebrity history.
Kim is all about the designer life. So of course she had the most couture wedding dresses possible at both of her weddings. Her wedding to Kanye consisted of two dresses. Her first was a custom-made Givenchy dress “that featured long, lace sleeves, a mermaid silhouette, illusion cutouts at the waist, and a cathedral-length veil,” Brides.com reported. Kim then slipped into her second dress, a sparkling minidress created by Balmain’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing.
For her wedding to Kris Humphries, Kim had three different dresses. Her first and second dresses were both designed by famous wedding dress designer, Vera Wang. Then, Kim slipped into a fitted silk mermaid dress.
Even if you are not a fan of Kim or the rest of the Kardashian clan, you can’t deny that they know how to throw a hell of a party. And although Kim stumbled at first with her marriage to Kris Humphries, she certainly came back with a bang with her iconic nuptials to long(er)time love Kanye West. The couple now share two children.
