Pop sensation Lady Gaga is taking her talents to the streets and into dive bars this week – and it’s no “Pure Illusion.”

The talented beauty teamed up with All-American beer business Bud Light for an alternative approach to promote her upcoming album. The LP – “Joanne” – hits airwaves later this month and focuses on her late aunt Jolene, the woman behind her middle name. Gaga claims the anticipated release “crosses over country, funk [and] pop,” according to Rolling Stone.

“My first performances were in dive bars in New York City and around the country, so working with Bud Light to go back to my roots to perform songs from my new album Joanne is such an exciting way to connect with my fans and share this music with them for the first time,” Gaga said in a statement.

Although the mini-tour has only three confirmed locations (with surprise stops along the way), it is sure to shake up the current standard of sold-out arenas and packed music festivals. If this inspirational woman sparks a trend for other big-name celebs in the entertainment and pop-culture business, she definitely deserves some “Applause.”

Due to the venues’ small size, all concert-goers will be contest winners. A live-stream option is available for any unlucky fans stuck at home during the opening performance on Wednesday, Oct. 5. Check out the video above for a glam-grungey glimpse of Gaga’s pure Americana vibes.
