Entity reports on Luna Blaise.

Luna Blaise is an American actress known for her most current role in ABC’s sitcom “Fresh Off the Boat” and this 15-year-old is ready to take the world by storm.

ENTITY is giving you an inside look to the actress’ journey in the entertainment industry and how she plans to change the world at such a young age.

Here are five things you should know about Luna Blaise.

1 Luna Blaise comes from a very creative family.

Let’s just say Luna Blaise is not a stranger to the world of entertainment.

She’s the daughter of Paul Boyd, a Scottish music video, commercial and feature film director. And her mother? She’s a Mexican-American actress and singer.

Luna told Galore Magazine, “Both my parents have a lot of professional friends in music. So every weekend, people would come over [where] we would have music salons. Our dining room was a full blown rehearsal space complete with drum kit, Fender Rhodes, amps and microphones.”

With her family’s background, it’s not a surprise Luna Blaise was inspired to be an actress and singer. Not every girl grows up around drum kits, amps and microphones.

2 She started her career as a model.

According to IMDb, Luna Blaise started working professionally at the age of five by acting in commercials and modeling.

She’s worked on many advertising campaigns for big-name brands, including McDonalds, KFC, Duncan Hines, Target, Gap and Juicy Couture.

3 She’s also known for her work as an actress.

Luna Blaise landed her first acting gig in 2009 for the movie “Vicious Circle.”

She got her breakthrough role in 2013, however, when she portrayed young Nina in James Franco’s indie art film, “Memoria.”

Luna has also been featured in a music video from internet celeb Jacob Sartorius. She plays his love interest in the music video “Sweatshirt,” which was released in 2013.

Then by 2014, she was offered a recurring role in the ABC television series “Fresh Off the Boat.” To this day, Luna continues to be a part of that show. She’s on a roll, too. She recently won the Young Artist Award in 2016 for the category Recurring Young Actress (14-21).

And though most of her acting roles have been small, this probably isn’t the last we’re going to see from her.

4 Luna Blaise is a rising star in the music industry.

Not only is Luna Blaise a model and actress, she’s also a singer.

Luna Blaise told Galore Magazine, “Music has always run deep in my blood and [it’s] been an extreme influence in my life. I have been singing behind the scenes with my friends and family as long as I have been talking.”

She recently released a song called “Over You” and it’s all about getting over a breakup.

When talking about what inspired Luna to write the song she said, “I’m only fifteen and I have never had a real boyfriend but I have had many crushes and there is something that happens when you get that real serious crush with someone. You catch feels and think it’s gonna last forever.”

We’ve all had that feeling at some point in our lives. Luna, we totally get you.

5 She’s an activist for environmental causes.

At the age of 15, Luna Blaise is already becoming an activist for environmental issues.

She also told Galore, “One of the things I was fascinated by was the way our ecosystem worked. It all comes from the water: all of it. I learned that we humans were slowly destroying our ecosystem by polluting our oceans. That is where it began for me.”

And while she, herself, is invested in making changes, she says she needs other people to do the same.

She says, “I think people need to really take the situation seriously. Educate yourself to find the things that you’re able to do in your life to make the situation better. Every little step helps.”

An activist, actress, model and singer, this young woman is a force to be reckoned with and she’s only 15 years old! Keep your eyes opened because this is someone you won’t want to miss in the future.
