Trachting down the child star.
Michelle Trachtenberg is well known for her roles on “Buffy” and “Gossip Girl.”
Her latest credit on IMDB was for a film called “Sister Cities,” where she starred alongside “Animal Kingdom”‘s Jacki Weaver and “Pretty Little Liars” star Troian Bellisario.
At age 31, Trachtenberg’s most prominent roles feature two characters that aren’t generally well-liked. However, Michelle has been in the industry for a long time. Let’s reacquaint ourselves with Michelle with these facts.
Basically a child prodigy, Michelle Trachtenberg started acting in commercials when she was three years old. If you do the math, you’d see that adds up to 29 working years.
Trachtenberg appeared in 90s hits like “Clarissa Explains It All,” but she got her start on my grandma’s favorite soap opera, “All My Children.”
Not surprisingly, Lily Montgomery (the “All My Children” character) saw five other actresses take on the role before the show ended.
In March of 2011, Michelle posed for Maxim’s cover in lacy lingerie. They wished her a happy 31st on October 11th of 2016. Back in ’11, Trachtenberg told OK! Magazine that she was happy her former bullies would see the pics. If I looked liked that, I’d show the pictures to my former bullies, too.
Michelle Trachtenberg was cast as Marina Oswald in “Killing Kennedy,” a 2013 TV film starring Rob Lowe. Marina was a native of Russia where Lee Harvey Oswald spent several years as an expat.
Michelle mentioned in the interview above that Marina Oswald is, in fact, still alive. She later remarried after Lee Harvey Oswald’s death, remained in Texas and became a citizen.
Michelle’s dad is a fiber optics engineer and her mom is a bank manager. I looked up fiber optics engineering and could not figure it out for the life of me. Both of her parents are of Jewish descent with her mother being Russian Jewish and her father being German Jewish.
So, to be honest, the waters are a little murky on this one. But sources report that Trachtenberg dated Scott Mescudi in 2014 and they’ve possibly been dating since.
If that’s the case, the lovebirds have certainly kept mum about their relationship. That could possibly be due to Cudi’s ongoing legal trouble with his ex and mother of his child, Jacqueline Munyasya.
