Entity reports on Sofia Vergara settling a $15 million lawsuit .

For the past couple years Sofia Vergara has been locked in several legal battles with no end in sight. Thankfully, the “Modern Family” star and all-around hot lady can now check at least one off her list.

Vergara finally reached a settlement in the $15 million lawsuit she filed against a beauty company called Venus Concept, who she accused of illegally profiting off her image by hawking products with her likeness.

According to legal docs obtained by ENTITY the lawsuit was dismissed in February with prejudice, which means Vergara has agreed to never refile. In other words, she must have been pretty satisfied with the outcome.

It’s presumably good news for Vergara, who has been fighting the suit for over a year.

For those who don’t know, the problems with Venus Concept began back in 2014 when Vergara posted a selfie to her WhoSay account — think a less cool version of Instagram — while getting a massage with the Venus Legacy machine. She captioned the photo “What is so funny Marilyn?? Legacy massage at @drlancerrx.”

Venus was obviously thrilled to have such a big-time celeb call out their product and thus, according to court docs, began using Vergara’s photo to advertise their goods. Specifically, Venus used the photo during a television segment on “Extra!”, which made it appear like Vergara endorsed the treatment, and posted it to several social media pages.

Vergara was not happy to see her face hawking a product she never agreed to endorse, especially one she didn’t even like. According to legal docs Vergara claimed the treatment was a “waste of time and money with little in the way of any results” and says she “would not use it again and certainly would not endorse it nor agree to appear in an international advertisement campaign to promote it.”

At the time, Vergara claimed she made $15 million for endorsement deals — and thus sued Venus Concept and various affiliated companies for that exact amount.

It’s unclear how much money exchanged hands during the settlement, as the details remain confidential per the court. But we’re guessing she didn’t walk away empty-handed. Why would she?

Unfortunately the actress is still fighting several other legal battles with her ex, Nick Loeb, over the duo’s frozen embryos. That fight is not only getting nasty, it doesn’t seem like it will end anytime soon.
