ENTITY reports that Susan Olsen was fired for homophobic slurs.

She may be known for playing Carol’s youngest daughter on the wholesome ’70s series “The Brady Bunch,” but in real life Susan Olsen has a darker side. The former child star was fired on Friday from her gig as a co-host on LA Talk Radio’s “Two Chicks Talkin’ Politics” segment after posting homophobic and threatening messages to one of the show’s guests on Facebook.

It appears that she and the guest, openly gay actor Leon Acord-Whiting, got into quite the argument when he appeared on the show to discuss the results of the 2016 presidential election. Afterwards, he shared his frustrations in a Facebook post.

As much as I love Sheena Metal, I think LA Talk Radio needs to give “Cindy Brady” her walking papers. I will not listen to or appear on any shows there from this point forward until she’s gone … Susan Olsen spreads outrageous misinformation & it is dangerous and unprofessional,” he wrote.

Initially, Metal responded to the complaint by defending Olsen, saying the two had simply engaged in a heated debate. She posted, “I also believe that as Americans, who are divided into conservatives and liberals, we need to begin the discussion with each other or we’re going to wind up in some kind of Civil War, which terrifies me.”

Olsen did not respond well to Acord-Whiting’s post, sharing a screen grab to her Facebook page along with a series of insults and threats. “This is the little piece of human waste. He blocked himself from me before I could even get one hit in. If you can find him, please send him my love,” she posted.

She quickly followed up with, “I’m sorry, this a-hole also dissed my friend. Leon, you had better hope you never see me in your world,” adding, “And I mean that! And that is most definitely a threat! You have no idea what you crossed!!!” Olsen also took it upon herself to send Acord-Whiting a private message, allegedly spewing homophobic slurs and threatening him.

The argument became contentious on either side, with both continuing to update fans of the other’s strikes against them. Acord-Whiting threatened to never return to the radio show and to share his experience with news outlets unless Olsen was removed from her post.

It culminated with Olsen’s termination, as announced by LA Talk Radio in a statement. “LA Talk Radio takes pride in its close and collaborative relationship with the LGBT community, and will continue to provide a home for those who have hopeful and positive messages of togetherness and tolerance to share with our listeners. We will not tolerate hateful speech by anyone associated with our radio station and have severed our ties with a host that veered off the direction in which we are going.”

Olsen seemingly responded to the controversy, posting a link on Twitter to a Facebook message, though that has since been deleted. Acord-Whiting, however, did respond, saying that though he did not take enjoyment from her dismissal, he did believe justice had been served.
