It’s the future I can see!

As Raven-Symoné says goodbye to her ABC audience, she says hello (again) to Disney. After serving as a co-host for “The View” for a little over a year, Raven-Symoné announced her plans to leave in December. She will be returning to Disney Channel in order to reprise her role as Raven Baxter in an upcoming spinoff of “That’s So Raven.”

“I’m still me, I’m still Raven [Baxter],” the star said on “The View.” “And I’m actually going to be a single mother, raising two kids and one of them is going to learn that she has visions.”

Raven-Symoné plans to relocate from New York City to Los Angeles to star and serve as executive producer for the new series. Although it’s not clear whether or not there will be a cast reunion, Symoné says that her and the team plan to go around the country to search for new talents to be in the show.

“That’s So Raven” marked Disney Channel’s first multi-camera comedy and when it premiered, Raven-Symoné was the first African-American woman to have her name in a comedy series title. The show was the highest-rated original in the channel’s history. It was also the first show on the network to reach 100 episodes. And even a decade after ending, Variety reports that it still averages 1.1 million viewers during midnight airings.

“Raven’s brilliant style of fearless comedy was a driving force for Disney Channel’s success around the world. Her performance in ‘That’s So Raven’ is timeless,” Adam Bonnett, executive VP of original programming for Disney said in a statement. “We now have our eyes on the future with her, and we’re looking forward to telling more stories for a new generation with an adult Raven Baxter raising her young family.”

Even if there’s no word on whether or not Anneliese van der Pol and Orlando Brown will reprise their roles as Chelsea and Eddie, there’s another important question: Will Boyz in Motion make an appearance?
