1 He worked his first job at a fire equipment replacement business.

Amell told Just Jared that working with this company at such a young age proved to be a pressure-filled experience.

“I worked for a fire equipment replacement company when I was way too young to be working for an actual business,” he said. “We replaced all of the fire alarms, or a fire alarm system, in a huge stable at a horse race track. The scariest thing about it, when you’re walking through the stables, you have to stay on one side of the horses because they’re not regular horses, they’re thoroughbreds.”

2 Robbie Amell and Italia Ricci are married.

Italia Ricci and Robbie Amell were engaged in 2014 and married two years later on Oct. 15, 2016.

The couple celebrated their love with a traditional Italian ceremony at the Cathedral of Saint Vibiana. Ricci donned a strapless James Clifford gown that she told Us Weekly was quite heavy. It was 35 pounds!

Then after the ceremony, the couple’s first dance was to “Never Stop” by Safety Suit. “I heard it on Pandora once and loved it,” Ricci said. “I played it for him and he loved it also, so we decided that was going to be our song. It was perfect, and the words are just so sweet and so meaningful. We cut it off early. I just looked at the DJ and sort of gave him the ‘Alright, we’re done here,’ because we were just going to start crying.”

3 He almost turned down his role for the movie “The DUFF.”

Amell told Screenrant that he wasn’t attracted to the role at first since he thought the character was going to be a cliche.

“To be honest with you, I read the first 30 pages and I put the script down, and I almost didn’t pick it back up, because the character was that stereotypical douchebag. I know that guy [and] I grew up with that guy in high school. I didn’t want to do that,” he said.

But, Ricci swooped in to save the day and convinced him to read the rest of the script. He learned that his character did have a heart, he was just young and needed direction.

According to Variety, Robbie Amell and Stephen Amell expressed their excitement by saying,  “We’re thrilled to be starting production with such an extraordinary cast and creative team led by Jeff, and excited to bring a full-length ‘Code 8’ to the world.”

Long story short? Robbie Amell shows that you can be both incredibly good looking and talented.
