ENTITY shares about Susan Downey.

Film producer, founder of Team Downey production company, and wife of Robert Downey Jr., Susan Downey has been doing amazing things.

She is one of the #WomenThatDo in the entertainment industry, using Team Downey to help raise $1 million for the Random Act Funding charity program. Unfortunately, she is usually working hard so far behind the scenes that we don’t see her until her extroverted husband pulls her into the spotlight.

We want more of Susan Downey!

Instead of pushing her to do more intense and draining press, I propose she take a simple step in letting us into her world that we desperately want to be a part of by getting on social media.

Professionally

Having Susan Downey on Twitter or Instagram, sharing information about her production company would be great for funding the charity projects she and her husband are working on, like what Robert Downey Jr. shared on Twitter earlier:

The more that information is out, the better the charity will do!

And posting about any of the projects she’s working on would be helpful in giving fans insight on what Team Downey is up to (it feels like it’s been a while).

Robert Downey Jr.’s social media is cluttered with his individual projects and Marvel-bro vibes. A Susan Downey professional social media account, whether it be on Twitter or Instagram, would do well for fans wanting to be in the know.

Personal Life

No one seems to keep their personal lives personal anymore, but Susan Downey appears to fly really far under the radar of Hollywood public figures. This is especially surprising as her husband is the most social celebrity I can imagine.

She and Robert Downey Jr. have two children, Exton Elias, five years old, and Avri Roel, two years old. Those are two incredibly fun ages to be around and to watch play, learn and grow.

It is definitely a respectable decision to keep children out of the public eye until they’re old enough to decide whether or not they want that life. It’s necessary to protect children, but any insight into her personal life would be appreciated.

Susan Downey is too important and interesting of a person to hide from us for so long. We’d be grateful for any personal or professional updates in real-time from her, and I think getting her on “the ‘gram” is the answer.
