Entertainment maven Netflix announced their newest original series, “The Crown,” which follows the journey of Queen Elizabeth II before she inherited the royal title.

The Queen, now 90 years old, is head of state of the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Netflix’s historical fiction show is inspired by true events the prominent public figure experienced in both her political and personal worlds.

According to USA Today, “The Crown” looks like the “richest, best-costumed and most British original series” to appear on Netflix yet. The series centers on juicy topics, including the inspirational women’s complex relationship with her husband Prince Phillip.

In the trailer, female actress Clare Foy discusses her character’s struggle inheriting the throne as a woman. “I am aware that I am surrounded by people who feel that they can do the job better, strong people with powerful characters,” Foy said. “But for better or for worse, the crown has landed on my head.”

The series will premiere on November fourth and will be available to stream on Netflix.
