I’d look her right in that fat ugly face of hers. – Donald Trump

Democratic Nominee Hillary Clinton recently launched her campaign titled “Mirrors” to show some of the comments that her opponent, Donald Trump, has said about women. In this advertisement, a series of young girls of varying ages and diverse backgrounds are shown looking at their reflections as Trump’s degrading comments about women play simultaneously. Some of these comments, pulled from television and radio interviews, include: “A person who is flat-chested, it’s very hard to be a 10” and “Does she have a good body? No. Does she have a fat (beep)? Absolutely.”

As The Washington Post points out, “The ad is clearly intended to appeal not only to women but other voters who find Trump’s colorful language about them offensive.” In fact, a Washington Post-ABC poll earlier this month shows that 60 percent of American voters felt that Trump is biased against women and minorities.

The 30-second spot then closes with a question addressing the viewers: “Is this the president we want for our daughters?”
