Funny or Die posted an entertaining skit this morning in which Katy Perry shows up to the election polls – completely naked.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Perry supports Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and freely shares her political opinions on social media. The inspirational woman hopes the controversial video will get young voters’ attention and encourage them to vote in the upcoming election.
The video was released on #NationalVoterRegistrationDay, the day after the first presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. By standing behind Secretary Clinton, Perry joins a team of other powerful female celebs – including Meryl Streep, Lady Gaga and Sarah Silverman – who support her campaign. Famous male personas have also jumped on board as seen in Joel McHale’s brief appearance in Perry’s comedic video.
While you can vote in the 2016 presidential election on Tuesday, November 8 with a bit of bedhead, be sure to come fully clothed – public nudity will move you from the public polls to a pair of handcuffs.
