The verdict is in: Quincy Jr. has officially died.

And honestly, we can’t believe stray bullets killed him. He’s gotten through child abuse, child neglect and sickness – a string of things no child should be put through.

But now he’s officially gone.

Quincy Jr.’s Death

The situation didn’t look to great in the midseason finale. After War lost the physical fight with Mitch and Benny, him and his crew opened fire and shot blindly into the room. When Benny went to check on his mother and nephew after War and his crew left, Quincy Jr.’s body was limp and there was blood all over Hanna.

Again, the situation seemed pretty dire, but Quincy Jr. has always been resilient. Moreover, there have been more miraculous things that have happened on “The Haves and the Have Nots” than someone surviving a bullet wound.

Yet, here we are – crushed and stunned that they actually took Quincy away and livid it was War who did it. Who shoots in a room with a child in it? War never ceases to amaze me with how crazy he can be.

The Fallout

War has officially gone too far by killing Quincy Jr. and it’s time he gets his just deserts. Part of me wished that Mitch would have let Benny go. However, there’s no telling if War and his crew’s clips were empty of not. And besides, we didn’t need a second murder in the Young family.

Regardless, Mama Rose and Hanna’s family will be sure War pays for what he owes: a life. At this point, it doesn’t matter if he’s in jail or in a grave. If it were up to Benny and Candace, it would be the latter, but they already have one murder investigation going on. Can you imagine if they committed another murder while they were still prime suspects for the first one?

Mama Rose plans to carry out the first option, which was emphasized by her quote:

Nobody fucks with a Malone.

Now War has both powerful families – with extensive connections – targeting his head. It’s over for him. The only question is when and how will they deal with him.

Implications for Candace and the Young Family

Candace can’t get a break. As she tried to avoid War’s murderous intentions, her son was killed. It’s weird Candace still hasn’t found out that her only child is dead. Presumably, Tyler Perry plans to draw out this devastating event and its repercussions.

I do know one thing: when she does find out, she is going to lose her mind. Hanna is already on that road as she’s taken more than her quota of pain and loss. What will they both do now? Candace is now being hunted by the police because her mother sold her out, and Hanna will now lose two of the people that she holds most dear.

And don’t forget – Mitch talked Benny into ratting himself out to Ice Queen Veronica. So, it’s only going to be a matter of time before he’s on the chopping block as well. Everything sure has gotten sticky and tangled within such a short amount of time.

How do you think War will pay for his actions? Through freedom or blood? Will Candace, Benny and Hanna be able to make it through this tragic loss? Share your thoughts in the comments section below or Tweet us at @entity_mag.
