Nothing today can be compared to “Saved By the Bell” or “Full House.” Now that ’90s shows such as “Full House” and “Sabrina, The Teenage Witch” are coming back, it’s obvious that nothing can beat ’90s sitcom.

5. “Boy Meets World” (1993-2000)

Growing up as a teenager is never easy. You are going to go through the constant struggle of studying for that test you’re going to fail, experience different family problems and friendships will be put the test. These two best friends are put into a world filled with teenage trial and error. Any ’90s fans who watched this 90s TV sitcom know that this series holds a special place in their hearts.

4. “Full House” (1987-1995)

Having a big household is never easy. Danny Tanner has to juggle living life after his loved one passed away while having his best friends live with him and taking care of three daughters. With all that in mind, he needs to juggle the idea of his daughters’ imperfections and family drama. Come and jump into this household where, 99% of the time, something is going to go down, but you’re learning something by the end of every episode. With the series getting its own spinoff in today’s era, a show to what we know and some love, “Fuller House,” “Full House” will always be remembered as an iconic 90s TV sitcom that is filled with all the drama we enjoy.

3. “The Simpsons” (1989-present)

“The Simpsons” paved a path for adult animated comedy shows such as “Family Guy” and “Rick and Morty.” This zany family that wreaks havoc everywhere they go are a beloved classic. To what is now the longest animated series since 1989, this cartoon takes the stages with its dark satirical comedy, influencing harsh plots, jokes and events that you shouldn’t laugh about, but you laugh about it anyway because it’s hilarious and sometimes sadly true.

Following a young, free-spirited lad as his life gets turned a complete 360 as he has to endure a lifestyle that is not strict with boundaries, but with life-long lessons. This ’90s TV sitcom not only raised the bar when it came to influencing certain topics and storylines but did it with an African-American cast. Not only did you have the audience attention, but inspired many other African-American families in our world today. “Fresh Prince” raised the bar when becoming an iconic sitcom, and not only for Carlton’s iconic Charleston dance.

Three men, 3 women, one apartment complex, in New York City. Fill in the rest. As to no surprise, “Friends” is one of the best ’90s TV sitcoms basically in the entire universe. With a group of best friends living in New York City, it’s difficult trying not to get into people’s business, but where’s the fun without the drama? Each character is different, with their own problems, even within their inner circle. This show stays relevant in society today as people continue to constantly quote it, create gifs and memes. With the influence it has on our past and present, people know that it is one of the best and will stay one of the best.

Of course, there are TV shows in today’s era that are making its own in the television, film and media industry, nevertheless, there are other shows in the ’90s that had a unique quality. Nothing is going to beat out these top sitcoms that will always be remembered as ’90s royalty.
