Rachel Zane has one of the brightest minds we’ve seen on “Suits.” It’s no wonder she’s Pearson Specter Litt’s secret weapon.

She doesn’t get enough of her own moments to shine on the show, but when she does, they’re pretty unforgettable. And if you need help remembering her brilliance, here’s our collection of Rachel Zane’s most badass moments on Suits.

1 When She Told Off Her Class Opponent

Let’s be honest – the girl who was up against Rachel in her mock trial was an entitled brat. Doesn’t it just annoy you when people judge women based on the actions of their partners? It annoys us, too.

So, when Rachel dug up dirt on the girl and used it to blackmail her into throwing the trial, we screamed with joy. Karma is a bitch.

2 When She Stood Her Ground on the Leonard Bailey Case

At first, Professor Dunbar refused to take on such a risky case. Even Jessica had her reservations when a couple of days earlier, she was gung-ho for Rachel to take on the Innocence Project. However, we got a glimpse of the Rachel that we want to see more of in “Suits” season seven. She stood her ground and refused to take no for an answer because she followed her gut.

Due to her persistence and drive, Leonard got a second chance at life. It doesn’t matter who gave the cross-examination, his trial was reopened because of Rachel. If she hadn’t given her opinion – even in the face of Jessica’s fear – Bailey would’ve taken the plea deal. And in case you forgot, this is the same deal that would’ve branded him the murderer of the kids he tried to help. How’s that for a superhero moment?

3 When She Persuaded Bailey’s Aunt to Sign the Execution Extension Papers

This was a crucial part of the Bailey case. They needed extra time to find Maria and get another way to throw out the case. The aunt’s signature not only gave them an extension, but also gave Bailey a reason to live. This act was necessary to keep the case going in the court room and to keep the defendant psychologically invested in gaining his freedom.

4 When She Found the Way for Bailey to Get Off Death Row

At this point, Jessica had already given up. She had gone through the death of a previous death-row client. So if Bailey had died, she would’ve been broken. Good thing Rachel Zane can think on her feet.

With a little prompting from Mike, Rachel figured out that the grieving father’s murdered young girl tampered with an eye-witness. He was so blinded by pain that he was willing to let an innocent man die.

If it weren’t for Rachel, the case would’ve been lost for good. Move over Mike because we’ve got a new MVP at Pearson Specter Litt.

5 When She Stood Up for Mike at the Character and Fitness Bar Interview

This scene was the best mic-drop moment thus far. In a very rare moment, Gibbs cornered Mike in front of the board that would decide if he could practice law again.

But the trial took a turn when Rachel pointed out an old rule. According to her, if one of the board members tries to damage a candidate’s character while they’re speaking, that candidate is allowed to have a character witness. Thanks to this, Dr. Julius Rowe had a chance to sway the board members in favor of Mike.

What would Pearson Specter Litt or Mike would do without Rachel Zane? Nobody knows, but it’s a good thing they’ll never have to find out because Rachel is as loyal as she is badass.
