With the 68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards airing this evening, it’s time for some lights, camera … fashion.
Although women should definitely be asked more than the traditional “What are you wearing?” question, it’s hard to deny that our favorite celebrities look fantastic in their red carpet couture. Have you ever wondered what it feels like to don an elegant Vivienne Westwood gown?
Well, to prepare for this year’s Emmy Awards, BuzzFeed Yellow gave five women the opportunity to dress to the nines in Emmy gowns. Inspired by their favorite celebrities, such as Kerry Washington, Viola Davis and Tatiana Maslany, these women tried on some long, exquisite gowns adorned with sparkle, glam and class. Watch as their faces light up after revealing their handpicked Hollywood dress!
“I think this is a great experience,” says one of the women. “I think every woman slash every person should feel like they can go to the Emmys and wear a beautiful dress. It shouldn’t be limited to these people we see on TV. I think it’s great and I think we should all be able to play dress up like this.”
