You’ve seen him take on a brave rescue mission, perform mind-bending action stunts and voice an adorable, selfless tree. Now, in this new YouTube interview Vin Diesel can be seen creeping out a Brazilian interviewer.
The video, shared by Carol Moriera, shows an interview that took place as part of the Comic Con Experience in São Paulo, while the actor promoted the upcoming “xXx: Return of Xander Cage.”
Moreira tries to remain professional throughout the interview, steering Diesel back on topic after he interrupts her three times to compliment her beauty and even profess his love.
“God, you’re so beautiful. God, she’s so beautiful, man. Am I right or am I wrong? Look at her. How am I supposed to do this interview?” Diesel asked at one point. He later seemingly broke out into his own rendition of T-pain’s “I’m N Luv (Wit A Stripper),” replacing “stripper” with “interviewer.”
At times, Diesel turned to the crew, off-camera, forcing them to agree with him about the interviewer’s beauty.
As she posted the final video, Moreira addressed the come-ons with a preface, in which she admitted to have felt uncomfortable.

“During the interview something happened that I did not expect: Vin Diesel was ‘in love’ with me… I did not know what to do, just laugh, because I was in a delicate situation. But the truth is, I did not like it,” she revealed, according to a translation shared by PapelPop.
By the end of the video, when Diesel had interrupted her for the third time, Moreira was visibly embarrassed, hiding her face behind a piece of paper. She tried to get the interview back on track, by repeating his character’s phrase from “Guardians of the Galaxy,” but he still ended the interview by gushing about his interviewer.

“Oh my god. Someone save me. When did this turn into the most beautiful girl in Brazil? When did this turn into I love you?” Diesel said, in a dramatic display.
Props to Moreira for powering through the interview despite all of Diesel’s extremely inappropriate outbursts. And as for the action star, while the interview may have gotten him attention, I don’t think Xander’s heroics are what people are going to remember.
