We should all "Work from home."
Hopefully you’ve heard of Fifth Harmony. The girlband got their first big break when they finished in third place on “The X Factor.”
They’re now extremely successful and the ideal role models for young girls everywhere aspiring to one day be a famous singer.
The original five Fifth Harmony members included Lauren Jauregui, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Ally Brooke, and Camila Cabello. However, Cabello left the group this past December to pursue a solo career.
Now the hit group is made up of only four members. But still, together they continue to be an icon of women’s empowerment for girls all over. We explored some of the ways that Fifth Harmony pumps us up about girl power.
When they auditioned on “The X Factor” in 2012, all five Fifth Harmony members were under the age of 20. That in itself is pretty impressive. And they’ve only gotten bigger and more famous since then. So basically, they’ve got some serious talent.
Even though the group is now four members instead of five, they decided to keep their name as Fifth Harmony. This shows that the remaining gals did support Camila’s decision to go solo. She’s on her own now, but once a part of Fifth Harmony, always a part of Fifth Harmony.
Ever feeling down? Turn on some feel-good tunes by this rockin’ girl band. Our favorites include “Work from Home”, “All In My Head (Flex)” and “Worth It.”
And they want you to dance, too. They post fun videos like this one on their YouTube channel. Check it out if you want to be as cool as Fifth Harmony. Or at least try to be.
They say girls just wanna have fun. And in Fifth Harmony’s case, it’s actually true. Besides, how could they not goof around when living their dream on tour performing?
Members of a band tend to usually go their own ways. Destiny’s Child, One Direction, The Jonas Brothers – to name a few. Sure, Fifth Harmony is down one member, but we think they are here to stay.
Moral of the story? Girls rule.
