If you haven’t heard of Jenny from the Block, then where have you been?
Living in a cave probably. The famous singer, dancer and actress is a major threat to anyone in the entertainment industry. And she doesn’t let her age stop her.
So just how old is Jennifer Lopez? ENTITY is here to tell you, as well as let you know how she isn’t letting a number stop her.
It’s really hard to believe, but this hottie with a body is actually 47 years old. She was born on July 24, 1969 in the Bronx.
Jennifer Lopez and her famous ex-husband Marc Anthony, who is 48, are mature enough to have a decent relationship. The two divorced in 2011, yet share twins Emme and Max.
“There’s a reason we’re not together, but we’re great friends. And we’re parents together. We’re even working on a Spanish album together,” the singer recently stated.
The famous singer and dancer recently started a new gig on television. She judges on the new reality show “World of Dance” alongside Derek Hough and Ne-Yo. The show premiered at the end of May and has had rising ratings ever since.
We can’t imagine how cool it would be to have this fabulous dancer to work alongside of, if we had any dancing talent at all, that is.
Not only does J-Lo sing in English, but she also sings in Spanish. The singer just debuted her latest Spanish single, “Ni Tu Ni Yo” at Macy’s Fourth of July celebration.
She also has two other Spanish albums out, which she worked on with ex-hubby Marc Anthony. We’ll just have to wait and see how good this next album of hers is!
By now we can realize that Jennifer is a hard-working woman. But she is also a great mother to her children, twins Emme Maribel Muñiz and Maximilian David Muñiz, who both turned nine in February.
Recently, the family was spotted on a trip with J-Lo’s bae, A-rod. We love that Jennifer makes time for both her kids and her man, and tries to set up a relationship between the two. #goals
The singer, commonly known as “Jenny from the Block” recognizes how fortunate she is to be in the position she is in. She dropped out of college to pursue her singing/dancing career. Her parents did not approve, and thus she moved out to Manhattan.
“‘I started sleeping on the sofa in the dance studio. I was homeless, but I told her, ‘This is what I have to do,'” she told the Daily Mail in 2013. Now, the singer has a net worth of $38 million dollars, according to Forbes. We love that J-Lo appreciates her humble beginnings and really worked to make her mark in the entertainment industry.
J-Lo has had a very successful career as a singer, dancer and actress over the years. We can only expect for this trend to continue. Her age has never affected her ability to perform and put on a good show.
