You don't want to miss this!
Each year, the ENTITY Academy hosts a first-day event that allows mentees to see what exactly is to come. As they prepare to embark on four weeks of mentorship, rigorous curriculum, and unique activities (did we mention *flying lessons*), the launch party serves as the opening ceremony. If you weren’t lucky enough to attend the highly anticipated ENTITY Academy 2019 launch party, then look no further. Here is an exclusive look at the day’s events and some of the high-profile guests in attendance.
The day began when the group of young women and men in the ENTITY Academy arrived at the office. After a tour of the historical headquarters, the guests began to arrive.
The ENTITY Academy 2019 launch boasted an impressive guest list. From actors, to writers, to filmmakers and entepreneurs, the 2019 mentees had the chance to meet with industry leaders.
Founder and CEO of ENTITY Mag, Jennifer Schwab, was joined by friends and fellow entepreneurs to celebrate the beginning of another impressive summer program.
ENTITY Mag was proud to host Patricia Arquette as the ENTITY Academy 2019 launch party keynote speaker. Her devotion to activism and women’s rights teamed with her years of success in the entertainment industry make her the perfect mentor for a group of #WomenThatDo.
The audience of guests and interns was captivated by Patricia Arquette’s words. Not only did she dish on her years in Hollywood, she spoke on the #MeToo movement and sexism in the workplace. Arquette inspired the young women of the ENTITY Academy to use their voice and know their worth, just as she has been doing for years.
After a gourmet meal by Maria Nyugen’s Art of Plating, the interns and guests joined a fireside chat. Patricia Arquette and her friend and colleague, award-winning hair stylist Tara Smith, took time to disucss the foundationGiveLove.
GiveLove is a nonprofit that works to improve community sanitation in developing countries. Together, Smith and Arquette encouraged the #WomenThatDo of the ENTITY Academy to live a life of compassion and service.
Both Arquette and Smith took time to participate in an intimate Q&A with the Academy mentees. From a discussion of non-profit work with Arquette to a look at the beauty industry with Smith, the day ended on an enpowering note.
This important day in ENTITY Academy history is one of many this summer. The #WomenThatDo of the 2019 ENTITY program will spend their summer meeting with industry leaders and mentors. Stay tuned for more exclusive looks at the 2019 ENTITY Academy!
