ENTITY reports that Lady Gaga thanks Madonna for her 'inspiring message.'

After years of rumors that Lady Gaga and Madonna don’t like each other, Gaga has shown big respect for the “Material Girl” by praising her recent “inspiring” speech on feminism.

The feud talk followed reports that Madonna had long felt Gaga was ripping off her persona and perhaps her music too, considering how much “Born This Way” sounded like “Express Yourself.”

But by expressing her admiration for the pop veteran’s speech at the 2016 Billboard Women in Music event, the younger star has made peace with this warm tweet in which she calls Madonna “brave and strong.”

During that speech, Madonna discussed her struggle to survive and thrive in the music industry in the face of what she called “blatant sexism and misogyny and constant bullying and relentless abuse.”

The icon, 58, also described a past sexual attack and that likely connected with Gaga, 30,  who is a rape survivor herself and an advocate for women’s rights.

Her new positive comments about Madonna are in sharp contrast to more negative ones Lady Gaga made in a Beats 1 Radio interview just over a month ago when she dismissed comparisons between the two, saying, “Madonna and I are very different. Just saying. We’re very different. I wouldn’t make that comparison at all and I don’t mean to disrespect Madonna, she’s a nice lady, and she’s had a fantastic huge career, biggest pop star of all time. But I play a lot of instruments. I write all of my own music. I spend hours and hours a day in the studio. I’m a producer. I’m a writer. What I do is different.”
