Entity reveals that Shannen Doherty is staying strong in cancer fight.

Inspirational actress Shannen Doherty continues to battle cancer with courage and positivity.

The most recent photo the former “Charmed” and “Beverly Hills, 90210” actress shared on her Instagram praised her radiation team.

“Meet Anna and Vince, 2 members of my radiation team,” she wrote in the caption. “They make a concerted effort to talk to me and show me what’s going on in this process so I don’t feel so out of control … None of this is easy but a great team can make it more pleasant.”

Also helping the 45-year-old actress stay positive is support from her friends, family and former co-stars.

Earlier this month, Doherty was presented the Courage Award at the American Cancer Society’s Giants of Science Gala. “Courage is something that you gain and it grows. Courage is facing every day and every obstacle one step at a time,” she said in her acceptance speech.

“Courage is embracing what you’re going through and trying to get through it with as much dignity as you possibly can, while also accepting your circumstances and allowing yourself to feel everything.”

She added that she was accepting the award on “behalf of every single cancer patient out there because it takes a lot of courage.”

Since getting diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2015, Doherty’s openness about her battle has been an inspiration for many of her fans.

In August, when she was discussing her mastectomy, she explained the process and her thoughts about the surgery in detail. “I’m being so personal right now,” the actress acknowledged. “But I think a lot of women can probably go, ‘Yeah, I’ve been through that.’”

And according to the 90210 star, one of her more difficult experiences since starting treatment was losing her iconic dark locks and blunt bangs which have been a signature look since her Brenda Walsh days.

But even though shaving her head was “an impossibly tough day,” Doherty still focused on the positive side and thanked her support system for their love for her.

“Thank you to these three who helped me [through] an impossibly tough day and continue to be there every minute supporting and loving me,” she wrote in the caption of an Instagram photo.

In August 2016, she revealed that her cancer has spread to other parts of her body. “I had breast cancer that spread to the lymph nodes, and from one of my surgeries we discovered that some of the cancer cells might have actually gone out of the lymph nodes,” Doherty said. “So for that reason, we are doing chemo, and then after chemo, I’ll do radiation.”

Despite her changing treatment, Doherty doesn’t seem like she’s letting her cancer take over her acting career.

Shannen has signed to play a “pivotal, unnamed character” in the upcoming TV Land reboot of her 1988 film “Heathers.” And just two weeks ago, she shared a sneak peek of her character in an Instagram picture captioned, “Jealous much?”
