ENTITY shares the best Christmas movies on Netflix.

Christmas season calls for Netflix binging overload.

The weather is cold and the hot chocolate is perfect to sip while re-watching some of the best holiday movies of all time.

And there’s no harm getting your holiday shopping done ahead of time, so that you can enjoy time off relaxing in front of the TV in your adult onesie and with your Netflix account for some good ole fashioned fun that will have you feeling warm and fuzzy about the holidays in no time.

Here are ENTITY’s top five favorite Christmas movies on Netflix that you should binge-watch this season.

1 “The Nightmare before Christmas” (1993)

This dark yet classic musical shares the spirit of the holidays, taking you back to the days when you were a young kid. It’s by far one of the favorites mentioned on Paste.

2 “Love Actually” (2003)

It took me a while to actually put on this movie after seeing it on Netflix for years. I sat there and began watching this movie that everyone was ranting and raving about it. In my head, I thought “Love Actually” was just some old, cheesy holiday film.

Well, for starters, all holiday movies are cheesy, but that’s the entire purpose of these heartwarming and joyful films.

It’s safe to say that this movie lives up to its purpose in a very good way. How can I not have watched this movie before? It was really cute and I loved seeing so many familiar faces make a cameo.

It’s full of very well-known actors like Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson, Mr. Bean, Keira Knightly, Liam Neeson, Shannon Elizabeth, Denise Richards and the list goes on, but you’ll have to watch it to get a glimpse of the rest of the characters.

3 “Bad Santa” (2003)

Oh, Billy Bob Thornton! This dark comedy was perfect for him. In true Thornton fashion, we watch him rebel during the holiday season and turn into a modern-day Grinch.

By his side is the late Bernie Mack and John Ritter. You know if Mack is in the film, it’s definitely going to be as funny as can be.

Thornton dresses up as Santa, gets drunk over Christmas and intimidates the children while on a mission to rob the mall he works at. Overall, he tosses morals out the door with his Scrooge-like attitude that represents the complete opposite of the the holiday spirit.

4 “The Holiday” (2006)

This is one of my favorite movies to watch over the holidays.

The cast is just a perfect, weird combination of actors including Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Jack Black. This strange combo worked brilliantly.

5 “You’ve Got Mail” (1998)

One of ENTITY’s all-time favorite holiday Netflix movies includes “You’ve Got Mail,” which shares a love story that takes place over an internet chat room. I think most of us can relate to this era, especially with the presence of social media.

Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks star as anonymous chatroom lovers behind closed doors and fierce business rivals outside of the cyber world.

Joe’s character, played by Tom Hanks, reaps the benefits of Kathleen’s book sales plummeting after his Fox Books corporation moves in on her business.

The story takes a turn when they both meet and settle their differences for the sake of love.

With this list of incredible, heartwarming Christmas movies on Netflix, you will be sure to enjoy quite a few. Watching holiday movies has a way of making us love the holiday season just a little more.

So what are you waiting for?
