One Entity writer shares 5 things working at Entity Magazine taught her

Working at Entity Magazine this summer has been an experience to remember forever. I have learned many things through their internship program both on a personal level and a work level. Let me shed some light on the 5 things I learned:

1 The More You Know The More You Grow

Being able to work on a vast amount of material  has educated me on topics I wasn’t familiar with and has ultimately bettered me as a person.

2 Crowdsourcing Is Beneficial

Getting feedback from people can help you write and also understand what other people are thinking. Understanding how people feel and what their take is on a certain topic can help you understand how to reach an audience and connect with them better.

3 Coworkers Are Friends Not Enemies

Growing up I heard horror stories about family members relationships with their coworkers. Entity taught me coworkers don’t have to be enemies, they can be your friends.

4 Encouragement Is Good

This environment worked extremely well with encouraging each other. It’s important as women to push each other to the top, not drag each other down.

5 Capabilities

If you would have asked me if I could write 11 articles in one day, my mouth probably would have dropped open and said no way. Entity pushed me and I now I am capable of so much more than I expected of myself.
