Taking care of yourself can be a real mission, regardless of what gender you identify with. From skin-care to proper grooming, we must be consistent in maintaining a clean and healthy appearance. Luckily, there are products out there today that have these concerns in mind. And some, like Tara Smith haircare, are ethically made and cruelty free as well.

First Thoughts: Sustainable And Natural

I recently was fortunate enough to be given health and skin-care items during my time at the world-famous Entity Academy mentorship. Among these healthy skin-care products were haircare items, including Tara Smith haircare. Unlike many items out there that are barely getting in on the green trend, Tara’s Smiths products take it a step further.

The shampoo and conditioner are labeled as vegan, cruelty free, gluten free, UK born, USA made, and manufactured for recycling. This is all great, but Tara Smith doesn’t stop there. The bottles even say that they do not test on animals, but on movie stars. This was a great spin on the product that made me even more excited to use it.

The Experience

I decided to use both of these exciting products to get a first-person perspective. During my nightly shower, I first applied the Tara Smith shampoo, which surprisingly was not as comforting as I had hoped. At first lather, it initially feel cleansing, as if all the pores on my head were breathing for the first time. As refreshing as this seemed, it didn’t last long. Shortly after, the refreshing began to feel stronger and cooler, like I had an ice pack on my head. The fresh scent, though unfamiliar to me, was quite relaxing. After rinsing the shampoo, I moved on to step 2 and applied the conditioner.

The conditioner felt more soothing on the scalp than the shampoo felt. The scent was nice and really made the texture of my hair feel silkier and more voluminous. I went further and left some of the conditioner in, giving my hair some cruelty free Tara Smith shine!

The Verdict

Overall, the Tara Smith haircare products I used were ideal. They met many criteria that millennials want disclosed today, including being vegan and cruelty free. However, I preferred using the conditioner over the shampoo. My only recommendation for the Tara Smith haircare products would be to make the shampoo more flexible for differing scalps and hair textures. With that kind of improvement, I don’t see any reason why these items would be in stock for long!

Tara Smith Haircare costs about $22 per bottle, and is available here.
