ENTITY reports that Anna Kendrick is one of 2017's most powerful female actress.

With 2016 coming to a close, Twitter is raving about what 2017 will bring, particularly in the movie department. From light-hearted animation (“Despicable Me 2”) to dramas with a hint of thrill (“A Cure for Wellness”), there’s something for everyone next season.

ENTITY sneaked a peek at the big screen for 2017 and came up with a list of must-see favorites. Here are seven movies coming out next year, all starring strong female leads.

1 Beauty and the Beast

Disney has stolen our hearts yet again with the upcoming release of “Beauty and the Beast.” Emma Watson stars as the iconic Belle, a character exuding both beauty and brains. In addition to her acting chops, Watson proves she’s got a powerful voice – we can’t stop listening to the trending audio clip of her sining “Something There.”

(We’re also excited for Watson’s film The Circle which encourages women to pursue the STEM field.)

2 Wonder Woman

From “Thor” to “Logan” to “Justice League,” it seems like there are too many superhero movies coming out in 2017 to count. Gadot owns her character and is sure to prove girls do run the world, providing a voice to women and the LGBTQ community.

3 Table 19

America’s comedic sweetheart isn’t afraid to tell it like it is, on or off camera. Her upcoming project “Table 19” is no exception. In the film, a group of wedding goers get stuck at the loser table for a wedding reception, they join together to enjoy the party on their own terms. Think of the movie as a modern day “The Breakfast Club” with Kendrick leading the pack of misfits.

4 Star Wars Episode VIII
