After two years of marriage, Sia and husband Erik Anders Lang are the latest celeb couple to split up.
In order to announce the breakup, the two released a statement, saying that they are willing to remain friends. “After much soul searching and consideration, we have made the decision to separate as a couple,” the statement said. “We are, however, dedicated to remaining friends. There will be no further comment.”

And though good things sometimes come to an end, the couple’s fans don’t seem to be taking the news well.

Many Twitter users are commenting on how “sweet” Sia and Lang were together while others are simply sending words of encouragement.

With this breakup, Sia and Lang join these five other celebs who broke up this year.
Probably one of the most heartbreaking splits of 2016, Brangelina split “for the health of the family.” After being one of Hollywood’s most powerful couples for nearly 12 years, Jolie filed for divorce and requested sole physical custody of their six children.
That same day, Brad released a statement making it clear that he wanted to put the kids first. “I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well being of our kids.” Since breaking up, Brad was also investigated for child abuse, but he has since been cleared by the FBI.

After five years together, the star couple split to go their separate paths. Lady Gaga, however, reassured her fans that the breakup was amicable. “Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates,” she wrote on Instagram. “We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the love we have always shared.”
At the time, Mother Monster was working on her “Joanne” album while Taylor Kinney was working on his show, “Chicago Fire.” They were working in different states and the long-distance really took a toll on their relationship.

Pop star Demi Lovato broke up with American actor Wilmer Valderrama after six years of being together. The couple announced their breakup together on a statement released on social media.
“After almost 6 loving and wonderful years together, we have decided to end our relationship,” the statement said. “This was an incredibly difficult decision for both of us, but we have realized more than anything that we are better as best friends. We will always be supportive of one another.”

Bella Hadid and The Weeknd reportedly split up last month because “their schedules have been too hard to coordinate and he is focusing on finishing and promoting his album.”
However, the previous couple has been generating a lot of buzz lately for their chemistry during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, where Bella rocked a skin-bearing ensemble and The Weeknd performed. After dating for a year and a half, the two have apparently kept their relationship friendly.

Despite getting engaged early this year, James Packer broke off his engagement to pop diva Mariah Carey, who was “blindsided” by the split. According to a source close to the Australian businessman, Carey’s life in the spotlight was too much for him to handle. Other sources also speculated that Mariah’s “lavish spending” and Packer’s “temper” played a role in their breakup.
Now, the “All I want for Christmas Is You” singer seems to just want a love life. After four romances, Mariah admitted on her new E! reality series “Mariah’s World” that “love would be fantastic.”
