Entity shares how you become the ultimate master of time management.

You have five assignments to finish for work, three appointments – from a beauty errand to a check up with your doctor – and so many household chores that you are actually dreading getting home. Simply put, you have too many things to do and too little time.

What’s a savvy woman to do? Work on becoming a time management master today so you can conquer the world tomorrow. Use the following four tips to make you the boss of your life and time.

1 MAKE A TO-DO LIST.

You’ve probably heard the saying, “Knowledge is power.” Well, in the case of time management, that’s definitely true! We often add unnecessary stress to our lives by filling out to-do lists with things we’d like to do or tasks that don’t need to be completed right away. To boost your productivity and lower your stress, get your priorities in order. In particular, you might want to buy a planner and create a schedule. Not only will this let you “see” what you should dedicate your time to, but writing tasks down will free you from having to remember them. You can also use different colors to highlight what’s more or less important in your listed priorities.

2 WAKE UP WITH A SMILE.

Have you ever woken up frazzled, already stressed by having plenty of chores and little time? This tip might be the most important one for you. As Huffington Post explains, countless studies have shown that a positive environment improves workers’ productivity. Take advantage of this effect by starting your day with something that makes you happy, such as a favorite breakfast, a motivational song or a warm shower. Positive thoughts equal positive results.

3 REST, BUT NOT FOR TOO LONG.

Unless you’re a robot, you can’t work 24 hours a day. However, how many times have you taken a “snack break” only for it to turn into an eight-hour Netflix binge? If you notice yourself getting too comfortable or starting to think about how you can push off your tasks until later, view this as a sign that you should get back to work!

4 REWARD YOURSELF.

Most likely, you won’t accomplish everything you wanted to every day. Life will happen; you’ll get sick, oversleep, or simply run out of steam. You should remember, though, that if you tried your best, you deserve a reward. That can mean something small like a sweet treat to end your day or something big such as finally booking that cruise you’ve been dreaming of for years. It’s impossible to deny; managing your time and being a chore ninja takes hard work and discipline. However, your feeling of accomplishment – not to mention your reward system – will make your work as a time management master totally worth it!
