Entity shares 7 signs you're falling in love.

Falling in love means different things for everyone. But, the overall understanding is that there’s nothing better than the feeling of falling in love.

Well maybe being in love, but falling in love is also pretty great.

The concept of falling in love is universal. It’s something that everyone wants to experience.  Love is so universal, in fact, that there are songs, stories and movies about it in all languages.

The feeling of love and being in love makes us happy. It means that we’re choosing to accept a person and everything that they come with. Above all, falling in love is realizing that you’re completely comfortable with a person.

No doubt though, we still need some pointers to know when it’s happening. Thanks to Entity – and the Reddit community – we’ve got you covered.

Entity shares how wonderful it feels to fall in love.

1 There Is No Timeline for Your Feelings.

“When you know, you’ll know.”

One of the most important things to realize from the beginning is that there isn’t a timeline that your feelings should be following. One of my close friends started dating this guy and after a month he started saying, “I love you.”

For some people it might be like, WOAH, TOO SOON. But, in reality, when you feel the connection, you just know. There is no science or logic behind it, you just feel it.

2 You Feel Comfortable Around The Person.

“Long silences aren’t awkward.

In every relationship, whether platonic or romantic, it’s important to feel comfortable. But, when falling in love, it’s a key part. Being comfortable in a relationship means that you’re able to be yourself. You, as an individual, are able to bring your flaws and all out and not feel like it’s the end of the world.

3 You Stop Doing Things Because You Need To.

“I started doing things because I wanted to and not cause I had to…”

Sometimes when we don’t really like a person, doing things for them can seem tedious. This can even be a small task, like helping them take out the trash. When you start to fall in love you begin to realize that everything you’re doing isn’t necessarily because you want to, but because your S/O appreciates it.

It’s like your perspective shifts. You realize that helping out even if it means sacrificing your time doesn’t matter anymore because you’re happy with helping out your S/O in whatever aspect.

4 Distance Sucks.

“The moment I had to be away from him, and I hated it with every inch of me.”

When you fall in love you notice that any time away from your S/O sucks. It doesn’t mean that you have to spend every second of every day together, no. However, it does mean that their presence makes you happy and being away from each other sucks. Do remember though, that some distance is healthy distance.

5 You Realize They’re Not Perfect.

“Love is accepting someone for who they are.”

Before falling in love, it’s easy to picture who our “perfect” match is. It’s simple to think that this person we’ve made up in our head will be a super human without flaws. But, falling in love makes you realize how foolish it was to think like that.

Being in love makes you realize that your S/O is not perfect. Like any other person, they have flaws, but you’re choosing to love them. Falling in love is a lot like bungee jumping. You willingly choose to bungee jump and just hope you land safely. You’re willingly choosing the same person over and over and hoping to make things work.

6 You Realize You’re A Part Of A Team.

“Thinking in terms of “we” instead of “me” and “you” and tackling problems together.”

Falling in love also comes with the realization that you’re now a part of a team. It’s no longer worrying about solely yourself, but also another person. Being in love means taking into consideration your S/O’s feelings, likes and dislikes. The perspective shifts from “me” and “you” to “we” and “us.”

7 There Is No Explaining It.

“There is no way to describe it.”

Finally, you’ll start to realize that it doesn’t matter how it was explained to you in the books, your favorite movie or those cheesy love songs. Because when you experience it, it’s something that only you can understand.

You’ll realize that home is no longer a place, but rather a person looking at you lovingly and with understanding even when they’re upset.

Entity shares how signs to know you're falling in love.

Falling in love is something that everyone feels differently. Regardless, it’s amazing and exciting. Hopefully these signs help you realize that you’re falling in love, and it’s too late to turn back. Okay, kidding. Or am I?
