Entity wonders where all the straight girls have gone?

It’s tough being a single man these days … because it’s so difficult to get a date when all the most desirable women are dating each other.

I blame the celebrity role models. Ever since everyone from Miley Cyrus to Kristen Stewart started making out with girls, it seems like their fans have copied their idols and become more sexually experimental too.

I could just about cope when there were just lesbians and bisexuals to deal with. You knew where you were then. But now there are so many other categories to try and understand, like omnisexual, pansexual and so on.

For example, to my eyes there are few stars more beautiful than “Orange is the New Black” actress Ruby Rose. But she describes herself in interviews as “gender fluid,” whatever the heck that means.

I don’t blame all these luscious ladies for getting it on with each other – women are awesome after all. But leave some for us suddenly neglected straight guys!

I remember when I was sent on a journalistic assignment to Hedonism II, a fantasy island of sex vacation resort in Jamaica and was thrilled to find myself sharing an apartment there with two stunning Playboy models. On arrival they headed straight to the bedroom and I eagerly followed them inside – only to be kicked out when they started making love to each other! I spent the rest of the trip sleeping on the living room couch while they enjoyed themselves in the bedroom.

But I guess finding someone to love is hard for all singles, regardless of gender or sexual preference.

I read last week that Caitlyn Jenner has started using a transgender dating site in the hope of meeting a special someone online.  She feels the trans community understands her lifestyle and won’t judge her. But she’s being picky and looking at the younger end of the dating pool; Caitlyn, 66, stresses in her profile that her perfect match is someone in their thirties to early fifties.

I’m not being selective about age or any other factors. All I want is a woman who is straight. Is that so hard to find in this modern world? The answer, increasingly, is yes.
