Ever since Kim Kardashian posted a picture of herself in a waist trainer on Instagram, the internet blew into a waist trainer craze.

People started dedicating their lives to waist trainers so they, too, could someday have the Kim K Coke bottle figure – even though she got hers through thousands of dollars of plastic surgery and personal trainers.

We get it, though. It’s an appealing solution to our pesky muffin tops.

But guess what? It’s not permanent. And sometimes, it’s even dangerous.

As the BuzzFeed video above explains, waist trainers encase your abdomen. They can put pressure on your liver and ultimately damage your organs. It won’t permanently alter your waist size or help you lose weight at all. The waist trainer can only push in your sides to make them look thinner, but it’s not a lasting effect.

However, if you still, for some reason, want in on this trend, then here’s a list to get you started on your painful road to Kim K’s body….

1 Hourglass Angel

This Ann Chery design is the waist trainer that started it all. This is the one Kim promoted on her Instagram.

It comes in three different colors: blue, purple and pink, which are exactly the colors your organs will be after wearing this waist trainer for a day! A combination of this waist trainer and multiple plastic surgeries to permanently alter your body – for 3 easy payments of $3,000.99 – can help you reach Kim’s famous figure.

2 Angel Curves

All of these brands have the word “angel” in them for some reason. We’re pretty sure not all angels have hourglass figures.

But this corset is perfect if you want to have trouble breathing, moving and eating! No problem, right? Maybe the lack of oxygen will get you closer to the heavens.

3 Perfotek

This one is great because it has a “sauna effect.” The Amazon description of this corset explains this product as a “mobile sauna for your waist – burn your stomach fat faster and maximize calorie burn during exercise with the waist trainer belt.”

Did you read that? It’s like a mobile sauna! Why go to an actual gym or spa and sit comfortably in a sauna for a few minutes to relax, when you can sweat profusely at work? You might want to carry an extra set of clothes around with you if you do choose to use this waist trainer, though. The sweat from your mobile sauna might seep through your clothes.

4 Reformer Athletics

Finally, a corset that also includes a sleeve for your iPhone 7. You shouldn’t be doing strenuous exercise with this corset to begin with, so a sleeve for your iPhone is completely unnecessary.

But, you know, if you need a safe space for your phone when pant pockets aren’t an option, leaving it on your stomach definitely won’t get in your way.

5 Fut

This corset not only looks like a one-piece body suit, it’s also got special lace trims and sheer fabric. You can dress up your waist trainer for a special night out. Just what you needed. You might not be able to eat or breathe, but at least you’ll look cute while struggling to exist.

Let’s get real – celebrities like Kim Kardashian obtained their figures through personal trainers, nutritionists and plastic surgery. There isn’t anything wrong with modifying your body permanently if you choose to do so. ENTITY 100 percent supports “your body, your choice.” However, you’re not going to achieve her look with a waist trainer.

There are much healthier exercises and methods that will get you to your dream body. It takes work, but at least you won’t be causing yourself acid reflux in the process.
