Experiencing love at different stages of your life and in different relationships allows you to truly understand the definition of what is true love.
Let’s be clear, it is not always rainbows and butterflies. It’s real emotions between two people. Love brings out the good, the bad and the ugly in most people. But what’s so real about this feeling is that you have to be vulnerable for the other person, and let your guard down for them to love the real you.
True love can be described in so many different ways because we are all different and we feel differently. But at the end of the day, love is a universal feeling.

Both partners need to be willing to compromise and put work into the relationship. Choosing to be honest every step of the way is crucial. Choosing that person over and over again defines the purity of your love.

We all have bad habits that we need to personally work on, but if you can change those habits on your own for the greater good of the relationship without someone pleading you to do it, I think it shows an enormous amount of growth in yourself and the love you have for the other person.
By far one of my favorite verses. Be patient with time and the growth that comes along with it. Nothing good comes out of rushing and putting ultimatums on your relationship. You should allow each other to grow and work on themselves so you can be better people for each other.
What is true love? Love is all of these definitions listed and then some. When you think about love it’s all of the wonderful feelings you have for the person you’re with and how much you’re willing to sacrifice for the other person.
